Holy shit.

We drove by this last night, as. it. was. happening.

All of a sudden, everyone on the northbound and soundbound sides slammed on their brakes, with this eerie red glow, and then

there was an explosion and a fireball came from the side of the freeway. An actually fireball explosion. Neat in movies, terrifying in real life.

Eep.

I thought maybe it was something I saw mentioned on Fark the other day, where a hitchhiker got hit and his body parts were strewn all over the highway. *_* terrible!! So dangerous on the highways! Be careful!!

Yeah I got stuck on the 5 at midnight going north last night and had to go local afterwards @_@ Hope you guys weren't stuck in that traffic too.

Well, it didn't really slow us down because it happened just as we got there. Everyone slammed on their brakes, and then started driving again, but there was no traffic to get backed up behind. Not delaying, just terrifying. Bleah.

I was stuck in a "not moving at all screw you guys" traffic jam for about an hour and a half at 1 in the morning last night. People started playing soccer on the freeway! But yea, accidents are scary :x

I think your first sentence pretty much sums up any reasonable reaction I could have to that. I'm really glad you guys are OK though- I can't imagine how scary it would be to witness something like that.

HOLY SHIT! I was in LA this weekend with friends and had to do a 7 hour drive up to Visalia yesterday to AVOID this. YOU SAW IT?????????????????????????????????????
