Huh, it was very mild where I was (Concord), so I didn't really think much of it. But wow, 5.6 or so? I thought I felt one around 1pm also.

yeah, we are only about six miles away from the epicenter. A LOT of things got knocked over, but very little broken (so far).

Poor Sauron's head!!

Oh no! I hope the broken stuff wasn't too precious and/or unrepairable. Eeks, how scary! I wasn't quite sure what Sauron was supposed to look like, so I didn't realize his head was all defunct! D:

Luckily, the spikes on the top of the helmet got stuck on the spikes of his sholders, so his head didn't completely fall off. Very fragile! Everything else I've found fallen has been okay.

They totally and utterly freaked. Big bushy tails and the entire bit. Wouldn't leave me alone for hours. But then again, poor Ms East Coast AJ was rather freaked, so like mommy like kitties :)
