Less than a week left until the Livestrong Challenge. Gah! I've been training incessantly for it and it still doesn't seem like enough. A very painful 70 miles this weekend. On the plus side, I've seen a flock of wild turkeys, foxes, fawns, and a snake on my rides. I'm also feeling woefully unprepared. I'm probably going to be hating life on sunday evening.
On the plus side, I took the baskets off my bike, and put on faster tires and woo-boy, what a difference that makes!
This is a ride for cancer research, and I'm doing this for my dad :) He's a survivor :) It's a great cause, and please consider donating.
